MY WAY
Riley sat up on her bed, glancing around her room and then out the window. She couldn't exactly get any idea of what she was going to do today. Riley used to wake up to five smiling faces till now. Four smiling faces...Jaelyn, Abby, Ray, Asuna, and Dana, that is. Ray would be the one to think of something to do right away, then there was Abby who'd be head over toes for a smoothie or something with fruit and sugar. Riley missed those days where Jaelyn would be there next to Riley always making up for her mistakes. But these memories were all in the past, it's not like a memory is something that happens in the future. Riley sighed and moved away from her bed and down the stairs. She left the house as the sun shined bright, the rays of sun reflecting off cars around her and into her eyes.

Ugh...I wish I could be brought back to the times where I met Abby, Ray, Misa and Hikari. That was fun... Back at our oldest church house in elementary school. Riley shook her head feeling her foot slip away from bright green grass, she tripped, and stumbled in front of a massive church house. Riley's eyes widened, more memories came back. Back at our church house, I had done the same thing, except when I tripped, I stumbled upon a girl that had been singing, and her voice had passion and was definitely a unique one. The singing girl stopped when she noticed me, and when she did she smiled and helped me up. Who was this girl? Bright blonde hair, bright ocean blue eyes, and had the name of, Abby. She seemed to have sung those words that the chorus girls sung, three older ones then came out. Ray, Hikari, and Misa. But I only knew who Hikari was...

Who was Hikari to me? The one I admired in elementary, she was smart, kind, and above all, in a way. She was extremely popular, not only for her admiring features, but she was an amazing singer and always helping others out. Kids made rumors about her being like a goddess, but you know how kids are, always saying weird things like that. Ray and Misa weren't sisters, Abby, Hikari, and Misa were, it made no sense...Well Hikari's hair color was different but other than that they were all basically alike, except Abby was the much sweeter one as they grew up. Anyways; After these three girls came out Jaelyn stormed around the corner finding me and she started laughing. "What Jaelyn, see something?" I remember those words from Misa... Jaelyn smiled at everyone, "I see you already met my childhood friend." Jaelyn had replied....and from that day on, us five girls became the closest of friends. Then came Asuna...

Asuna and I had also met by the church house in elementary, although she Ray's sister I met her about a month or two later, she was younger after all. Misa and Hikari were always found picking on three boys, and that's when I had met Takashi, Tenji, and Ryuki. Those three boys were beat on by those two, but Riley had always found it amusing. Then that's where the nicknames flew in, especially known for the "tsunderes". It was a given group name I guess. Unexpected, truly. I liked experiencing those times...now it just seems they're all gone...I wonder if I'll ever see them again. Especially Jaelyn...we knew each other since we were three, and now it seems those memories are being forgotten, it almost seems as if Jaelyn is just a blank waiting to be filled in once again forever, or for awhile at least. Riley sighed and sat on the ground, her eyes started to fill with water, they were tears, she really missed her friends dearly, and wanted to see their smiling faces again. It's like destiny to her.
